Sometimes it feels like every single kid out there is wearing the same rotation of T-shirts, am I right? Don’t get me wrong- I love myself some basics for Chickie, especially for the days she’s at daycare; BUT I also like to find unique Ts that show Chickie’s personality and style (maybe more my personality and style than hers but you get my drift..). To that end, I thought I would share with you our go-to stores for everyday T’s that are funny, quirky, unique and won’t break the bank too bad. Check them out below!
Tired of the same old baby gifts, Lorna Diwa started Cheerily as a way for non-parents to find quality, on trend, unique products to gift their friends welcoming little ones. Although meant for baby gifts, lets just say- I’ve gotten more than a few gifts for Chickie from Mama… oops. Their T’s are seriously soft and wash amazing! You’ve no doubt seen Chickie wearing their T’s on our Instagram before.
Mom of two and Gangsa Rap enthusiast, Jamie came up with the idea for Saturday Morning Pancakes while doing just that- cooking up some pancakes for her kiddos on a Saturday morning. After ordering their “New Phone Who Dis?” Tee, Chickie and I immediately became fans. SMP’s t-shirts are soft and just like Cheerily’s they wash well- even post mac and cheese self-feeding situations…. Their T’s are funny, punny and have a whole lot of sass. We love them!
If you follow me on Instagram, you KNOW I love me some Old Navy. Old Navy’s price point is unbeatable and although the quality isn’t the best I find that by the time their clothes start falling apart they barely fit Chickie anymore. This is a win-win in my book since we get inexpensive, cute clothes with NO STORAGE REQUIRED! As a city mama the no storage part is key- I feel super guilty not storing clothes for our next (knock on wood 3x) babe but space is so limited with city living that if I’m not over the moon with an outfit I’d rather donate it. Just me? Anywayyyy, Old Navy is awesome and we especially love their Ts.
British store Mini Boden has kid’s clothing that actually LOOKS like kid’s clothing. It’s very cute when kiddos dress up as adults, but it warms my heart when I see a kid dressed as a KID! Does that make any sense? Mini Boden has the cutest appliqué Tshirts with the sweetest animals, complete with 3D textures. ChickChick won’t stop touching her furry friends when she’s wearing Mini Boden Ts, it’s the cutest thing. Per usual, I gravitate towards Mini Boden’s boy T-s more than their girls stuff but, to each their own.
