Iβve said this before and will say it again: the only constant in motherhood is change. Ch ch ch ch changeees πΆ coome and come FAST when it comes to kids, am I right? Just when you think you have the routine down, in comes the C word (change you guys, clam down π) and rocks your world. Never was that more clear to me than when Chickie was six months and her all milk diet (and strict pumping/feeding schedule that came with it) had to make way for solids. MyΒ Β 4 oz every 3 hours little world was spinning out of control. Solids felt like an unknown universe- was I going to make my own baby food? Ainβt nobody got time for that. Was I going to use pouches? What about all the added sugar? Should I start with Veggies? Fruits? Eeeek.. Man would the transition have been easier with Raised Real in my life!

These guys really spared no expense when it comes to shipping their food- they use use medical grade coolers. As in, their coolers could safely transport a human ORGAN, ok? Insanity! Yes, I know- not as important buuuut their packaging is also really cute (andΒ βgram friendly! π€) it comes with super easy to follow instructions and a really funny troubleshooting meal time guide. As part of the membership you also get Baby Food Hotline access- a phone number you can text with any and all questions on feeding your baby and baby food itself like, in general- not only those Raised Real related! I’m telling you; my life would’ve been SO MUCH easier with Raised Real when Chickie was transitioning to solids.
Iβm happy to report the dish passed Chickieβs smell test! π
How Was Your Experience?
Out of the four types of meals that came in our box, Chickie really liked two of them and didn’t really care for the other two. This made me feel super guilty because the truth of the matter is she just isn’t used to eating that healthy. For the meals she didn’t love, I mixed in some bananas and that seemed to do the trick sugar-wise. I really think that if I started on the meals earlier in her life Chick would be a more well-rounded eater instead of a sugar and carb machine. Who knows? I’m planning to be much more intentional about it with #babybruther this next time around, you live and you learn..Β I do have to say though, the meals were SUPER easy to prepare, they were ready and on the table in less than 10 minutes. My favorite part was the not having to give lunch or dinner time a second thought- just open the plastic bag and either microwave or put it on the stove top for bit. Voila! Dinnertime.. It doesn’t get any easier than that!
If you guys are curious and want to try Raised Real, you can get a $25 discount with code STEPHANIE25! I wish I wouldβve come up with it myself! π€£
